Murrin Bridge Newsletter

Readers of the national press could be forgiven for thinking that Aboriginal communities are just "bad news" because that's what tends to be reported. You don't sell papers by showing all the hard work going on in communities like Murrin Bridge to improve their daily lives in the face of all kinds of adversities: poverty, unemployment, remoteness, racial prejudice, ignorance and often unhelpful bureaucracies.

This is why we make available here the local Newsletter published for the community in Murrin Bridge. It's not the Daily Telegraph, there's no "big news" in there, just a record of life in Murrin Bridge, and of the daily efforts of community leaders and volunteers to improve the lives of the residents of Murrin Bridge.
